What an amazing place! Lori cared for our 7 month old golden retriever puppy while we were away, and honestly, he didn’t want to leave when we came to pick him up. She clearly loves the pups that stay with her. Our favorite part is that there are no kennels—she treated our pup the way he was used to being treated at home: free roaming around the house, lots of love and playtime. We would use her again in a heartbeat!

Our dog Kira had an amazing stay with Lori at A Windy Day Farm. It’s a beautiful location with lots of room for plenty dogs to run & play. Kira made lots of friends & had so much fun that she almost didn’t want to come home! Lori was great with communicating updates while sending lots of pictures & videos. Highly recommend!

Our English lab, Blue, has stayed at A Windy Day Farm a couple of times now. I cannot say enough good things about Lori and her farm. She sent me pictures or video of my dog having a great time almost everyday. He looked so happy and has so much fun with the other dogs. She has a huge, beautiful property and doesn't crate the dogs. They sleep inside and feel like they're at home. It is obvious that she truly loves dogs and treats them like they're her own. I highly recommend this place, although I hesitate too because I don't want her to get overbooked!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Lori and A Windy Day Farm. This was our first time leaving our puppy for an extended time and Lori enabled us to enjoy our trip and not worry about our girl! She had an amazing time and we loved the daily check-ins and pictures. It eased our minds and let us relax! I felt like Lainey was treated like one of her own and got all the love and attention she needed!! We would 1000% recommend Lori for boarding!

Delaney, my 1 year old labradoodle, is very timid and shy around new dogs and has separation anxiety issues. Usually she travels by car with me throughout the day. I decided to spend a long weekend in New York with my husband & boys and wasn't quite sure how things would work out for Delaney. She loves being outside and she loves playing with our neighbor's Golden so I was hoping Lori would be the perfect fit for Delaney. After her first night of getting acquainted she fit right in and seemed happy from the updates and photos I received from Lori. When I went to pick her up, she was outside with Lori's crew and I knew for certain she enjoyed her stay. Delaney happily greeted me, went back to playing with the other dogs, came back to me, and repeated that all the while wagging her tail. I'm pretty sure if she could speak, she'd be asking me to take her there again!

This place is fantastic! Suukyi has tried many dog-boarding options, and this is by far the best. For the first time, it felt like she was taking her own fabulous vacation instead of waiting for us to return. We loved getting photos and video clips of Suukyi running around in big open fields, playing with her new dog friends, 'helping' Lori clean the barn, and even celebrating her birthday in style. Great experience all around!

Our dog Dixie just spent nine days at Windy Day Farm. We have only had her a few months so I was a bit apprehensive about leaving her anywhere. Lori immediately put my mind to rest and embraced Dixie as part of their family. She kept us updated everyday with pictures and notes and we knew Dixie was having a great time with the family as well as the other dogs. She offers the perfect "home away from home" and she will always be my first choice when we need a place for Dixie to stay.

If you are ever in need of a place to leave your fur babies this place is it. They get to run on a farm and are treated like family. My girls loved their week there, and I was thrilled that they got to have a vacation while I enjoyed my vacation.

Our Sophie (Bernese Mountain Dog) had such a great time at AWD while we were on holiday for a week!! I'm not 100% sure she wanted to come home when we returned. LOL. The daily text updates and photos were a welcome treat, and we knew our girl was in great hands. We've found the new best place for our girl to stay when we're away! 5 stars!

Cosmo, our Golden, likes his alone time, so we were uncertain how he would take to the Farm and the other dogs. We are happy to announce that he had a GREAT time. Lori and Family made him feel at home as well as encouraged him to socialize and explore. By the time we picked him up, he was happy and enjoying his playtime with his new friends.
